Symposium: Emerging Technologies for Student Engagement

Description: This symposium will focus on the Personal Response System (Clicker) technology and technologies associated with other active learning strategies to provide a forum for discussion related to enhanced student engagement. We will have nationally recognized leaders present on exciting ways to promote student involvement and campus leaders offer information about strategies that have worked for them. Early registrants will receive Douglas Duncan's book, "Clickers in the Classroom: How to Enhance Science Teaching Using Classroom Response System.The complete agenda may be found at http://www.udel.edu/inst/sept29-2006agenda.html.
