9:00-10:45: Opening remarks and keynote presentation.
Gardner Campbell, Director of the Academy for Teaching and Learning at Baylor University, where he also serves as an Assoc. Professor of Literature and Media in the Honors College, will deliver a keynote address titled "Awakening the Digital Imagination". Campbell currently serves on the Advisory Board of the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative and the Information Fluency Advisory Board of the University of Central Florida. He has published and presented nationally and internationally. Strong advocate for open education, he will present his vision of how technology can become a catalyst for better teaching and learning in higher education. 2:30-3:15: Breakout Sessions
Participants will be asked to choose a topic and discuss it in groups in preparation for a panel discussion at 3:15.
3:15-4:00: Panel Discussion and Closing Remarks
Gardner Campbell will moderate a panel discussion about the topics which have been addressed during the day. The panel discussion will be followed by closing remarks. |
